A Great Body Building Strategy

no-nonsense-muscle-building-banner.jpgWhy do you need a good body building strategy?  Well, for someone who is aspiring to be a professional body builder or someone who is already a body builder, it would still like to build more muscle, a good body building strategy will prove to be helpful.  You should take note that the way to successful muscle building is not through hours of lifting weights at the gym or training hard.  We're telling you this is not the way to go!  You will only exhaust, and possibly injure yourself .

To be able to successfully build muscle, here are five things you have to remember - aerobic exercise,  a good, nutrition diet, endurance training, strength training and enough sleep.  These are the five elements, that, when combined, are a surefire way for you to build the body you desire.

What's good about keeping these five things in mind is that it gives you what you want (that well-toned, well-muscled body) without having to spend eons at the gym.  Yes, we kid you not!  You may think this is wishful thinking and continue your seemingly endless trips to the gym.  We are telling you, though, that you will only increase possibility of permanent injury if you continue on that route.

Of course, strength training is best done at the gym.  But this only requires a surprisingly small amount of time.  How does three minutes, thrice a week sound?  This is to work two muscle groups for about one and a half minutes each day.  Think of this in terms of the time you actually do the exercise, instead of thinking about repetitions and sets.

As for aerobic exercise, the common notion is that it is only for losing weight.  However, for body builders, it is an activity that is aimed at building muscle fast, as well as strengthening your heart, getting rid of and avoiding fat buildup, and developing endurance.  This requires a minimum of 30 minutes of aerobic acitivity thrice every week.

Endurance training is a natural by-product of you doing all the things discussed so far. As long as you do your strength training and aerobic exercises, you are improving your ability to endure and this is developed as you properly do a combination of the above elements.

You should also remember to eat right and get the proper amount of rest.  A good, balanced weight gain diet is vital in helping your muscles grow as they should.  Make sure that you have a diet that has plenty of protein, nutrients, vitamins and minerals.  As for the right amount of rest, remember that muscle only grows while you are at rest or sleeping.  This is the time when, after all your efforts to lift weights, the muscles have the opportunity to repair themselves.  So, to avoid getting fatigued, try to get as much rest as you can each night.  Around eight to ten hourse of sleep should be enough.
