Derek Manuel’s weight gain programme (himself a hard gainer) is specifically designed for people who are naturally skinny and have naturally fast metabolisms. Even if you’ve struggled for years to gain weight and muscle, this programme will get you amazing weight results fast. You’ll get better results in eight weeks than you have your entire life; just like I did when I tried this programme.

   

Like Derek, I spent years feeling embarrassed about my skinny body and inability to gain muscle, while all the other guys at the gym seemed to do it with no problem. Thanks to Derek Manuel's How to Gain Weight and Build Muscle For Hardgainers, I’ve put on muscle faster than I thought possible!

You get a complete eight-week workout plan designed specifically for hard gainers. You’ll also learn how to construct your OWN personal workout routines so you can keep up your amazing gains! The programme only requires you to spend an hour day up to three times a week at the gym. This is because you must keep your workouts short and intense using the proper exercises meant specifically to gain weight while allowing ample time to recover. The aim is to build strength, as Derek claims that the fastest way to build muscle is to get stronger.  If you overwork it, you will risk overtraining and even lose weight in the process!

As well as the training guide, you’ll also get nutritional information that tells you what foods to eat to gain muscle, and about 25 sample meals are provided. One down side is that the information on diet is a little brief; if you’re a beginner, it may be difficult to put together your own meal plan. Derek also points out that no supplement will ever take the place of a solid diet and good training; while they can be helpful additions, you shouldn’t rely on them for results. I thought this was excellent advice.

Derek also throws in a bunch of useful bonus books if you buy the e-book. Extras include e-books like Tasty Fat Loss & Muscle Gaining Recipes, Eating Strategies to Gain Weight, Bodybuilding Fitness and Supplement Guide, and Build Your Own Personalized Meal Plan. The e-book is well-written and easy to follow. Manuel presents an interesting look at how he came to the plan that worked for him and the one he is recommending, although the impression I got was that he didn’t have much experience beyond his own. I’d recommend this if you’re a hard gainer like me, as it does focus completely on people who struggle to gain muscle. The price is reasonable, and the free extras a quite useful, especially the diet books. It definitely worked for me, and I encourage you to give it a shot!  Head to the website here.

 

Conclusion: 
The programme is fairly decent, but there are far better guides out there. The diet information is lacking in depth, and there needs to be more detail about things like workout intensity. I also got the impression that he didn’t have much experience beyond his own. When you compare it to programmes like Sean Nalewanyj's The Truth about Building Muscle , another guide for hard gainers (and one of our five-star products), it just doesn’t measure up.
